Let’s be friends :) (Engadget v The Verge Wallpapers) on Flickr.

Had the chance to take a few shots with a second iMac this week and this was my favourite.
The machine to the left is in my workshop to get some more RAM added to it, to get the Lion upgrade done and to give it a once over before it goes off to its new owner. It’s a late 2009 21.5” 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo, currently with 4GB of RAM but soon to be 12GB. It’s still a fantastic machine and one that will be running for years to come I’m sure - it sailed through all my tests and will be a huge improvement for my friend over her current machine, an eMac!
I had a bit of fun with the wallpapers - with all the comments recently surrounding Senior Editors leaving Joystiq to head to Vox Media to put together their “games” offering, and the very interesting tumblr post from Darren Murph (darrenmurph.tumblr.com/post/14852609402/chris-grant-is-le…) I thought it would be fun to do a side by side featuring wallpapers for Engadget and The Verge.
The message is simple kids, let’s all be friends and get along :)

I will save enough money to buy one of these in 2011. This is my goal!
